Summary
A strong low-level south-southeasterly jet was forecast to develop in the right entrance region of an upper-level jet over eastern Canada.
The low-level jet was associated with strong isentropic lift through the morning on the 14th.
Later on the 14th, the low-level jet and isentropic lift became co-located with forcing from the approaching mid-level wave. This is when the strongest forcing for upward vertical motion occurred.
