Notes:
At 700 mb, the low center tracked from the Ohio Valley toward the mid-Atlantic coast, then deepened rapidly along the northern mid-Atlantic coast. Deformation (shaded) developed across the northern mid-Atlantic area on the 13th and persisted through the 14th, with some intensification evident on the 14th as the mid-level low deepened.
