Onondaga county supercell – 1858 UTCNotes:Likewise, the down-shear tilt of this storm moving through the Syracuse area is also quite evident.Video obtained from the area indicated a rotating wall cloud associated with this storm as it passed over Syracuse, however no wind damage was reported. It seems likely that the rain that fell out ahead of the main storm stabilized the local area around Syracuse, which did not allow any damaging winds (or tornado development) near the ground.
