V (southerly) wind component and anomalies
Notes:
Southerly wind components were also anomalously strong along the east coast in the lower and mid-troposphere. In the upper troposphere, a jet streak was located across the eastern Great Lakes, with New York and Pennsylvania located in the right entrance region.|
