Backward trajectories from HYSPLIT
Notes:
Backward trajectories from south central New York from the HYSPLIT model indicated a deep south-southeasterly flow transporting tropical moisture north along the east coast. The moisture was enhanced by the remains of tropical storm Nichole, which had weakened to un-named status east of Florida by early on the 30th.|
