Radar data - Sullivan county tornado

Notes:

The data on this slide shows radar data from the Binghamton WSR-88D at the time of a tornado touchdown in northern Sullivan county, NY. The tornado was associated with a mini-supercell. The storm was low-topped, and the rotation that was observable on the WSR-88D was modest. At the time of tornado touchdown, the storm was located approximately 60 nm from the radar, and the elevation of the 0.5 degree scan was close to 5000 feet above ground level.
