- The storms that produced the tornadoes were low-topped mini-supercells, located 50-55 nm from the radar.
- For the Schuyler county tornado, strong rotation was only detectable at 0.5 degrees for one volume scan.Strong rotation was never detectable for the Sullivan county tornado.
