Notes:
A comparison between the 4 km NAM (left) and 3 km NAMX (right) showed superior forecasts vs. the GFS. The 00z March 13 run of the NAM was much too dry for northeast Pa and central NY, otherwise these forecasts accurately indicated 1.5 to 2.5 inches of precipitation across northeast Pa and central NY.
